I'm Sharon and Sweeties' is my pride and joy. I love baking and entering contests (and winning!). It’s my happy place! Like so many other bakers, it all started with my granny, and my best friend. When my grandmother became ill and I became her caregiver, to pass the time we baked together. She taught me many of her old recipes and I jazzed them up - maybe to make less sweet (not as much sugar, etc.) but basically most of my recipes are from my dear grandmother. How is my bestie involved? Well, while granny and I were baking, of course I couldn't leave all these yummies at home, so I would race to my bestie's house for her to sample. At first, she was happy to be a taste tester, but after about 10 cakes - she said somewhat sternly "you can't keep bringing cakes here, why don't you try selling them!" Hmm, a cake biz never occurred to me, but at that moment Sweeties' was born! I had my first real tasting at her office and received rave reviews. With my confidence at an all-time high, I began taking cakes anywhere grandmother and I would go (doctor's offices mostly). As you might imagine, they loved our visits! I love when I’m called the cake lady, and most recently the cake goddess, but most of all I loved when my granny called me her lifeline. Her love of baking has been gifted to me and I would love to share it with you!

Our menu is quite extensive but because we bake to order, we can provide many amazing choices. We love trying new recipes, so don't hesitate to ask us about your favorite cake – even if it’s not on our menu. We'll make it happen!
